Seven manifestations of the anointing Luke 4:18

The anointing is the power of God given to us for service to get the job done.

Acts 10:38 talks about Jesus being anointed, we know that Jesus did many great things but he could not do it without the anointing

Now let’s look at the seven manifestations of the anointing.

1.) anointing to preach- Luke 4:18 tell us that we need anointing to preach, preaching the gospel is for sinners to come into relationship with God, we need anointed preachers because it’s not our intellect that will convert sinners but it’s the anointing that accompanies our preaching, the bible says the gospel is the power of God, therefore the gospel must be preached with power, you can preach a well done intellect sermon without giving room for the anointing and the message might be good but if nobody is getting saved then it’s worth nothing and then you can have a simple message making room for the anointing and see sinners saved. It’s the anointing that draws sinners.

2.) anointing to teach- we must understand that you need an anointing to teach the word of God, teaching the word of God is a grace given to certain individuals to teach but it must be Holy Spirit inspired teaching where the word becomes alive to you, the Anointing gives us the ability to teach, teaching must be good theory and practical application, ignorance in the church comes because there are ministers who teach without the anointing.
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. (‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭14-15‬ NIV)

3). Healing the sick- to see people divinely healed we need an anointing to heal the sick, you don’t need anointing for medication, there are sickness that even medication can’t cure or solve but the anointing can heal any disease, however you need a healing anointing to manifest in order for God to heal. Act 10:38

4.) deliverance from demons. Isaiah 10:26, Luke 4:18, to see people be set free from demonic oppression we must have an anointing for deliverance, counselors without the anointing will never see people set free, demons cannot be counseled out they must be cast out, the anointing gives you boldness to deal with the demonic, you must given the anointing for deliverance to deal with the demonic.

5.) anointing for the prophetic- to flow in the prophetic needs an anointing for the prophetic to be there, we must be careful not to stir up something that’s not there for example play guess game, when you flow with the anointing then you will begin to prophesy because of the anointing, there is a specific anointing where the prophetic will flow, wait for the spirit of God to lead you, lots of damage has been done over the years as a result false words were given because the minister was not under the prophetic anointing.
For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (‭2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬ NIV)

6.) anointing for praise and worship – praise and worship leaders must have an anointing to lead and they must understand what the two is, firstly the anointing for praise is to take people out of their bondage and loose the shackles, it is also to enter in the presence of God, it’s not entertainment or in the way we perform, it is the anointing that breaks those bondages therefore you first need the anointing to praise, worship is a lifestyle and is more than a song or a good voice, the anointing for worship brings the glory of God into a place not because of the song but because of the heart that is longing for God worship leaders must have an anointing for worship that even when no music is playing they worshiping because when they arrive to lead the anointing comes because they have lived a lifestyle of worship, when the anointing of worship is missing it makes it difficult for the other manifestations to manifest because the anointing of worship creates the atmosphere for miracles.
All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. (‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5‬:‭12-14‬ NIV)
7.) anointing for favor and prosperity. Deuteronomy 8:18, God gives us the anointing (power or ability) to get wealth and favor upon our lives, there is an anointing for that and it manifests in peoples lives as they don’t pursue wealth but the anointing , the anointing attracts money and the believer then uses money to extend Gods kingdom in giving, there are many believers that don’t have this anointing operating or manifesting in their lives to a full degree because there is a ignorance to this and have not understood that the same way they release the anointing for all the other areas all that is needed that we need to release the anointing for prosperity with our giving, There are certain kingdom finance people who has been anointed in this area, note that in order for us to get favor or prosperity on us it will require high level of obedience to the voice of God that anointing increases upon us in this area as we obey God more. Sadly many believers heal the sick, cast devils out move in the prophetic but when it comes to finance and favor they are under done because they don’t believe God is interested in their money thus making many in the kingdom ineffective because favor is needed to move into the next level of our ministry.
