Seven places Jesus shed His Blood.

Seven places Jesus shed His Blood 1peter 1:18-19

“knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭1:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God is a God of symbolism. He therefore gives significance to numbers the number 7 simply stands for perfection, In the Old Testament times God told Moses to build a tabernacle and the people of God lived under the old covenant, in the Old Testament tabernacle , which housed the presence of God, there were 7 places of power and anointing.

Leviticus 16: 14-19
“He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times. “Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat. So he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, for all their sins; and so he shall do for the tabernacle of meeting which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness. There shall be no man in the tabernacle of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, that he may make atonement for himself, for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel. And he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD, and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around. Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, cleanse it, and consecrate it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭16:14-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
at two different times the high priest would sprinkle the blood with his finger seven times, the number 7 pointed to the perfect lamb or sacrifice which was Jesus

When he came He shed His blood seven times not only did he fulfill the Old Testament requirements of blood sacrifices , but he worked out a total salvation and liberty for us. This is symbolized through the fact that Jesus shed his blood 7 times , through 7 places on His Body.

Each of the seven places where He shed His Blood has a specific meaning or a specific benefit/ blessing for us.

Jesus never just shed his blood aimlessly, there was no accident in the shedding of His blood.

Place 1- our will power bought back, Luke 22:44
His forehead, burst blood vessels to win back our will power
The first place Jesus shed His blood was in the garden of gethsemane on the night of the last supper with his disciples, this was in accident, the first Adam lost his will power or sold his willpower to satan in a garden when Jesus the second Adam shed his blood in the garden of gethsemane, he bought back the willpower of man

Jesus faced the same battle that Adam faced, whether to His own will or the will of the will of the father.

Place 2- disfigured to release Gods image Isaiah 52:14
His face , disfigured, bruised and smashed to win back for us the image of God
The second place Jesus shed His Blood was the bruises and wounds on his face, his face was wounded, they hit his face with a stick their fists and spat upon his face they smashed up his face why? When God made man, God made him in the image of God, after His likeness man was the beauty of Gods creation genesis 1:26 sadly after fall of man,an lost his image of God the image of holiness, godliness, purity of the spirit. Jesus bought back the image of God for us.

Place 3: His back to win back our physical bodily healing Isaiah 53:5
The third place shed His Blood was at the whipping post where His back was pulled to pieces as he was whipped 39 times according to the Jewish punishment, every time those roman soldiers lashed their whips on Jesus back, he bought back our healing.

Place 4- His head pierced by thorns to win back financial blessing was to destroy poverty, Matthew 27:29
The fourth place Jesus shed his blood was his head, in the beginning when Adam and Eve lived in the the garden of Eden They lived in blessing and the presence of God, there was no sickness and no poverty, they lived in abundance, however when Adam disobeyed God declared a curse that came upon the land through adams sin genesis 3:17-19, God cursed the ground with thorns and thistles because the land was cursed, man had to battle in sweat to make a living instead of abundance the curse of God upon fallen man opened the door for poverty.

Place 5- His Hands to win back dominion or authority to our hands genesis 1:26
The fifth place Jesus blood was shed was from his hands where the soldiers hammered spikes to nail him to the cross before the fall of Adam God gave him charge of and dominion over the earth. God placed all authority on the earth in the hands of Adam and Eve but when Adam disobeyed that authority was taken away and satan became the god of this world satan began to take charge
Genesis 39:3
Mark 16:18

Place 6- His Feet to win back dominion and authority to our feet Deuteronomy 11:24, psalm 37:23
The sixth place Jesus shed His blood was when they hit those spikes in his feet, when Adam sinned he lost the dominion over the earth given to him by God, man was supposed to be the head and not the tail deut28:13, however because of Jesus feet being pierced he gave us back dominion and authority to our feet Hebrews 2:6-8
Psalm 8:6, Romans 10:15

Place 7- his side to win back inner, emotional healing, john 19:34
The seventh place Jesus shed His Blood was where a soldier pushed his spear into the side of Jesus and blood and water poured out, not only was the outer smashed so was the inner part wounded, after the fall of man continued on a downward way until he was an emotional wreck, victim of emotional and psychological abuse and hurts, man developed wounded hearts and wounded emotions many became bitter souls angered beings unforgiving people, tormented by evil demons. Man did not only submit to sin but man then started to suffer under the consequences and pain of sin man not only needed forgiveness of sin but he needed inner healing.

It also mean the church was born as they pierced him in the side,,we know that the first Adam was put to death(deep sleep ) sleep in the bible represents death so that Eve the woman can be formed so on the cross the second Adam who is Jesus was put to death so that the church His bride can be birthed, blood and water was poured out it speaks about birth, therefore the chute was born on the cross and established at Pentecost.
