Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Proverbs 29:18 KJV)
Vision is all about seeing things with a different eye, it is something God gives us that we not able to control or even know how it will come to pass but requires is to believe.
Visionaries always see what others can’t see, they stretch and take people to another level.
1. Must write the vision down
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:1-4 KJV) Pray the vision through.
2. Plan
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
Planning is key, planning always comes after the vision, vision will be seen as a spiritual action where planning will come as a more practical natural action, if the two works with each other we could be more effective in the kingdom.
Remember we on a mission or journey and it always requires that we strategize and plan well so that we can not be here today and gone tomorrow.
However we must not get stuck here we must continue to move forward many people have done nothing for God because they use the excuse they still planning.
3. Execute
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV)
This is what the body of Christ finds difficulty in and that is doing and getting the job done.
I’m so glad that Jesus is a finisher whatever He starts He finishes. Execution of a vision requires something simple and that is faith – Hebrews 11:6.
When you and I execute, we simply say, God I believe and trust this is you, it’s when we doubt it’s God or have a selfish vision that we struggle to execute.
