Principles of Gods Kingdom – Kingdom culture

Matthew 4:17

Jesus ministered the Kingdom of God (gospel) wherever He went. He taught the Principles of the Kingdom of God that were totally in conflict with the principles of the world. No wonder somebody said, “those who walk with God will be out of step with the world”

The principles of Gods kingdom are In opposition to mans laws, in fact our sinful nature hates the principles of the Kingdom of God.

There are many principles but we will now look at some of these life changing principles.

Worldly principle – hate your enemy
Kingdom principle – love your enemy
No one in this life will avoid making enemies, especially when you live the kingdom life. Jesus said Matt 6:43-44

Worldly principle – the way you get is to take or keep
Kingdom principle – the way you get is to give
Like 6:38
The world doesn’t know what it is to give. Jesus knew that by giving, he would receive a harvest of souls.

Worldly principle – if you want to be great exalt yourself
Kingdom principle – if you want to be great, be a servant
Matthew 20:25-28
Luke 9:48

Worldly principle – says seeing is believing
Kingdom principle – says believing leads to seeing
John 20:29
The blessing for believing is that you will see what you have believed.

Worldly principle – if you want to keep something hold on to it
Kingdom principle – if you want to keep something, let go of it or lose it.
Luke 9:24
By clinging to something it becomes an idol. If you let go of it, then God can bless you by giving it back to you.

Worldly principle – exercise your human power to be powerful
Kingdom principle – ” weakness” or “nothingness” is the way to power
2 Corinthians 12: 5-10, 13:4
Human power is a major stumbling block to get Gods power.

Worldly principle – says I will
Kingdom principle – says thy will
When satan said ” I will”, in heaven he lost it all and was kicked out of heaven, the “I will” of satan turned his light into darkness for ever and ever, when Jesus said in mark 14:36 he turned our darkness into light

If anyone should stubbornly walk according the worldly principle then Jesus gives a solemn warning in Matthew 21:43.
